I. Design and Associates LLC (“we,” “us”) operates the NYC Renovation Filing Navigator, an educational screening and preliminary cost-estimating tool. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We handle personal data in a privacy-conscious manner and only collect what is necessary to provide the report and, where you request it, to follow up about your project.
Information We Collect
Project answers you provide in the questionnaire (property details, scope of work, approval questions); contact details you submit to receive a report (name, email, phone, property address, preferred contact, desired start date, budget, readiness to hire); files you optionally upload (floor plans, photographs, alteration agreements, building rules); and basic usage information needed to operate the service.
How We Use Your Information
To generate your preliminary filing and cost report; to email the report and sign-in links when you request them; to allow you to save and revisit projects; and, only with your consent, to contact you about your project and — separately and optionally — to send newsletter or marketing communications. Marketing consent is never pre-selected.
Public Property Data
Where available, we retrieve preliminary public information from official NYC sources (NYC Planning GeoSearch and NYC Open Data). This data is preliminary and must be confirmed by a licensed professional. We do not scrape restricted systems.
Storage & Security
Personal data and uploaded files are stored on managed infrastructure. Uploaded documents are private to your account: access requires authentication, and files cannot be viewed by other users. Sign-in uses passwordless magic links; administrative access is restricted.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Report and lead information is available to authorized staff of I. Design and Associates LLC to respond to your request. If you enable an integration (such as a CRM) we may transmit your submission to that system at your direction.
Your Choices
You may decline marketing communications, request access to or deletion of your data, and delete uploaded files from your dashboard at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details on our website.
