This application is an educational project-screening, preliminary cost-estimating and professional lead-generation tool. It is not a permit filing application and does not make any legally binding code, zoning, filing or cost determination. It is not affiliated with, and does not submit filings to, the NYC Department of Buildings, the Landmarks Preservation Commission or any government agency.
No Professional Relationship
Use of this tool does not create an architect-client, engineer-client or contractor-client relationship. Results are generated from the answers you provide and available public data, and must be confirmed by a New York State Registered Architect, Professional Engineer or appropriate NYC-licensed professional.

Filing pathways, required professionals, timelines and cost ranges are preliminary planning estimates only and are not a proposal, bid or guarantee. Actual requirements and costs depend on existing conditions, agency records and professional review.
